Cathy will guide us through a 6” round bentwood box with a knob. You can use a piece of your choice or order one from Mike Lusk. The information is below. If you choose to paint on a piece of your choosing and the size is a bit different, you will need to adjust your pattern yourself.
Project Piece:
6" Round Bentwood Box with Knob (3" sides) #269 Mike Lusk (Lusks Scandia Woodworks) www.luskscandiawoodworks.com
Background paint: JoSonja Galaxy Blue (acrylic) and JoSonja Clear Glaze
Oil Paints: Light Oxide Red, Chromium Oxide Green, Yellow Ochre
Brushes:
3/4" or 1" Flat brush or foam brush for backgrounding,
Script Liner #2 and #1 (King Art Original Gold, Princeton Select, JoSonja, your choice) or #4 and #2 Alf Bjercke 510 from Norway.*(Easiest to have 3 different brushes; one for each color).
Supplies:
Linseed oil (painting medium of your choice)
JoSonja Clear Glaze Medium
Transfer material (carbonate of magnesia)
Tracing paper,
pencil
eraser
chalk for drawing
paper to doodle paint on
flexible ruler
compass
Center-finder ruler
Helix Angle & Circle Maker
paper towel
water can
cap to hold painting medium
Letter Size Plastic Sheet Protector (to place palette color paper in and mix paint on plastic sheet).
