The Tulip is one of the most important flowers in history. It has been admired, desired and painted in art for centuries. Join Kim Garrett for a Study of the Tulip in Rosemaling throughout Norway. We will discuss, sketch, and paint examples of several of these beautiful flowers over 2 class sessions.

Unbleached Titanium White or Titanium White
Mars Black
Yellow Ochre
Raw Sienna (I use Grumbacher)
Burnt Sienna
Green Earth
Prussian Blue
Cadmium Red Light
Venetian or English Red
Caput Mortem (violet) (I use Rembrandt Brand)
Raw Umber
Burnt Umber
Acrylic Color Palette (These are JoSonja Brand)
Unbleached Titanium or Titanium White
Carbon Black
Yellow Oxide
Raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna
Raw Umber
Burnt Umber
Pine Green or Green Oxide
Storm Blue
Red Earth
Vermilion or Napthol Red
Purple Madder
Brushes
I use mostly filberts but use the brush you like best…
# 2, #4, #6 filbert, flat or round
# 1 or #2 liner or script liner
#1 round or small teardrop brush (for those beautiful Rogaland teardrops)
