Swedish dalmålning Flowers of Winter Carl Hansson Pieper Fleck Bloomquist

$110.00

Pieper Bloomquist will guide you in painting

Saturday, January 17, 2026
4 hours - time will be determined

“Here there are roses and flowers that grow both winter and summer.” The painted florals by premiere dalmålare Winter Carl Hansson represent the basics for anyone wishing to paint Swedish kurbits. In this class, Pieper will guide you through the essentials of building classic flowers that can be used when painting most styles found among the Dalarna murals. Students will be shown how to build a flower from the center to the outer layers of petals, with plenty of variety to incorporate into your own pieces. We will also cover tulips and buds. This is a perfect beginning class to give you the skills needed to take further classes in dalmålning. Pieper will be working in acrylics, but the process can be adapted to any painting medium.

The Flowers of Winter Carl Hansson Supply List Acrylic Painting supplies

Students MUST have a painted surface and a water color pencil (see below). All other supplies are listed for painting with acrylics.
