Nisser Christmas Playground A Gudbrandsdal design by Pam Rucinski, VGM
Wouldn’t this look cute on your holiday table? Or, how about painting this and give as a gift. This is the first time we have offered a class where we will be painting nisser - the Christmas elves. Nisser (plural for noses) live on farms and live in the barns. They are the caretakers of the animals. They are pretty low key until Christmas Eve when they expect a bowl of porridge. There is a cute Christmas song called, På Loven Sitter Nisse Med Sin Julegrøt. If a bowl is not left for the nisse, the farmer could find his animals had been left out of the barn. You don’t mess with the nisse.
Pam has created a cute project for the holiday season. We hope you can join us. Class participants will receive a link to the recorded class and have access to it for at least a year. We do ask that you don’t share the link. If you can’t take the class right now the class will be available as a CLASS ON DEMAND.
There is an optional design for the back of holly leaves and berries. Or, you can do the same design on the front and back.
