Join Nordic Canvas for our 2025 rendition of our original annual Holidala: The Os Inspired Holidala. We will take the Essence of Os rosemaling design and holiday it up.

Background Paint: I used FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Vintage White Acrylic and JoSonja Gold Acrylic
Oil Paints
Mars Black or Ivory Black
Titanium White
Cadmium Yellow Light
Cadmium Yellow Deep
Thalo Blue (Grumbacher) or prussian blue is ok
Crimson Lake (Holbein) or Carmin (Rembrandt) or Alizarin Crimson (I an using carmin)
Caput Mortem (if you have it)
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red medium (Grumbacher brand)
Cadmium red light
Acrylic Paint Suggestions (I use mostly JoSonja brand)
Black
Titanium White
Arylide Yellow
Vermillion
Pyrrole red or Napthol Crimson
Thalo, Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue
Storm Blue
Permanent Alizarin
Yellow Oxide
Green oxide (or other bright green)
Pine Green or Hookers Green
BRUSHES:
I use filberts but you can use your favorites in sizes 2,4,6, (8 nice but optional)
Liner (script or liner of your choice) I use script liners size 1 & 2
Scharf Teardrop brush size medium or a #1 round brush for teardrops
