Five Styles, Five Months
In this class Kim will be painting a different rosemaling style every month for five months. The projects are geared towards painters who have had at least one basic class and advanced beginners but would be great for anyone who wants to keep painting and doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on big projects during the summer months. We’ll be painting the styles of Os, Hallingdal, Valdres, Viksdal, and Telemark, focusing on stroke work and linework. Each class will be 2 1/2 hours in length. The projects are designed to fit on a 5 inch round disc (ornament) but can be adjusted to any shape.
Sound Interesting??? We will be offering this as a package of all 5 classes. Of course, if you can’t attend a class or two you will always get the recording. A month before each class we will email you the color photo, design, and supply list so you can be ready to go.
Kim will be teaching in oils but acrylic painters welcome as always.

All classes will be from 9am – 11:30am central time

For Os you’ll Also need:
Cadmium Yellow Light or permanent yellow light (o) Yellow Light (a)
Cadmium Deep Yellow or permanent orange (o) Vermilion (a)
Alizarine Crimson Alizarine Crimson
(I have not used the permanent orange, and yellow but since we cannot currently get cadmium colors in Minnesota, they might be our best option)
Brushes:
I use #2, #4, & #6 filberts
#1 or #2 liner of your choice
***You can also use your favorite brushes
All your usual painting supplies
