Hauser Medium Green
Dioxazine Purple
Purple Petal (a light Lilac purple)
Yellow Ochre
Warm White
Metallic Gold (optional)
Background Color
Folk Art Brand Matte
Wild Wasabi (a light pale green)
JoSonja Acrylic Options (I find these are a little brighter so if you have them use them)
Pine Green
Yellow Oxide
BRUSHES
#2 & #4 Round or Filbert (I am painting with a round brush)
#1 liner of your choice
Other Supplies
Water in a Container
Paper towel
Tracing Paper or chalk to apply the pattern
Flow Medium (Optional) I use JoSonja Brand…This helps acrylic paint flow without diluting the color like water can
A piece of kitchen sponge (optional) to apply the gold on the ornament edge
Backgrounding Instructions
Apply 2 coats of the Wasabi Green to your ornament or practice board sanding lightly in between coats and after second coat.
Trace on the design before class.
